The new tyre was developed in close cooperation with the racing series and, in particular, takes into account the approach to sustainability in Formula E and the future of e-mobility, without neglecting motorsport performance. Roughly 30 percent of the new tyre, which is tailor-made for the third generation of Formula E car, is made from sustainable materials. The teams currently have a variant of the tyre that can be used in both dry and wet conditions, in order to further save resources. Furthermore, the long durability of the tyre is also a pioneering step. After each race weekend, all the sets of the Hankook tyre will be completely recycled.
