For years, Hankook has been supporting the F4 Spanish Championship certified by FIA, which has developed into one of the top junior series in the world. The premium tyre maker and its Ventus Race tyre support the youngsters starting out in Formula racing, which has been the springboard to an international motorsport career for many drivers in the past. The Spanish Formula 4 championship made its debut in 2016 with 19 starters. Nowadays, up to 30 drivers battle it out for victories and points at the wheel of 176-hp Tatuus F4 cars. Many former Spanish Formula 4 drivers have moved up to Formula 3 and Formula 2, have established themselves in the LMP2 class in WEC, or have gained Formula 1 experience. All the previous female competitors qualified for the W Series, which took place until 2022 on the Formula 1 platform, and which premium tyre maker Hankook also supplied with the Ventus Race. This season, the Spanish Formula 4 series lines up at seven internationally renowned racetracks in Spain, Portugal and France. Each event features three races, two lasting 25 minutes and one 18 minutes.
