NXT Gen Cup
Hankook is exclusive tyre supplier of the new NXT Gen Cup series, which was launched in 2023. The fully-electric junior touring car cup offers talented young kart drivers aged between 15 and 25 the opportunity to take the next step towards a professional career. Since the inaugural season in 2023, the LRT NXT1 race cars, which are based on the electric MINI Cooper SE, have been racing on the Hankook Ventus TD. This tyre was developed as an original equipment option for the Mini John Cooper Works GP and performs superbly both on the road and in motorsport. Hankook also offers the drivers and teams on-site support at the circuit.
Specially developed for the track, the race car was built by the founders of the NXT Gen Cup – the Lestrup Racing Team. It features a 230-hp liquid-cooled electric motor and a 30-kWh battery.
