In the Toyota GR Cup Spain, the 2025 season concluded with a thrilling title race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Spaniard Sandro Perez impressed in qualifying, twice securing pole position on the Hankook Ventus Race. Despite the promising starting position, Perez was unable to prevent his compatriot Marcos de Diego from taking victory in the penultimate race of the season, also with the help of the Hankook tyre. Perez eventually had to settle for seventh. Second place went to another Spaniard in Daniel Losada, who was rewarded with a good starting position in the final race. However, Perez was not to be denied his moment of glory in the final race of 2025. He led from start to finish to claim an impressive lights-to-flag victory. Losada also had cause for celebration: fifth place was sufficient for him to lift the champion’s trophy. The Hankook tyre provided all the drivers in the one-make cup with ideal grip levels throughout the entire season, resulting in a close and enthralling battle for the title.
