Carlberg wins the Rally Poland with Hankook to extend his lead in Junior ERC

Calle Carlberg took advantage of the full potential of his Opel on Hankook tyres at the 81^st Rally Poland in mid-June. The Swede took an early lead and then set the pace in an impressive and commanding display. Having opened a healthy 28.2-second lead by the end of the opening leg, Carlberg had extended his lead to over two and a half minutes by the end of the final special stage, benefitting particularly from the strengths of the Hankook tyre on the loose gravel sections. His second win in a row saw Carlberg strengthen his grip on the top of the table in the Junior competition, which he now leads with 84 points. The next rally takes the stars of the future to Italy from 4^th to 6^th July, when they will take on the Rally di Roma Capitale, at which the premium Hankook tyres will have to prove themselves on the asphalt around the Italian capital.
