Double success in the Supercar Challenge: Koebolt and Jansen impress in record field in Assen

The Supercar Challenge powered by Hankook lined up with a record field of 55 GT and touring cars at the TT Circuit in Assen, Netherlands, from 8th to 10th August. The standout performers were Mex Jansen and Max Koebolt in a BMW M4 GT3, who twice took the chequered flag as race winners in front of their home crowd. The Dutch duo had previously secured pole position at the 4.55-kilometre circuit in the north of the Netherlands, with the help of the Hankook Ventus Race. Jansen and Koebolt took their qualifying speed into the two races, setting the fastest lap in each of them. Rik Renmans from the Netherlands and his Belgian team-mate Wim Meulders continue to lead the championship. Next up, from 27th to 28th September, is Circuit Zandvoort on the North Sea coast of the Netherlands.
