Hankook shines at the WRC Central European Rally

The Central European Rally, which is supported by Hankook, again proved to be a successful WRC event: in unsettled weather conditions in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, the premium Hankook Ventus Z215 and Z210 tyres impressed with consistent grip and a strong performance – on both wet and dry asphalt. The rally took place between 16^th and 19^th October and featured 18 challenging special stages, with roughly 307 kilometres against the clock. Kalle Rovanperä eventually took victory with a lead of 43.7 seconds – his third win of the season. That puts the Finn in second place behind Elfyn Evans in the Drivers’ Championship, tied on points with Sébastien Ogier. Toyota also set a new WRC record in securing its ninth Manufacturer title. Hankook’s premium tyre again demonstrated its technological excellence – with impressive stability and grip, even in extremely unsettled conditions.
