Hat-trick in the Supercar Challenge: Daan Meijer is unbeatable in Zandvoort

Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands hosted round six of this season’s Supercar Challenge powered by Hankook from 26^th to 28^th September. Spectators on the North Sea coast witnessed two sprints and an exciting endurance race. The Hankook Ventus Race impressed in both formats with a consistently high grip level throughout the entire distance and reliable stability in the intense battles. Local favourite Daan Meijer benefited most from these attributes, claiming a hat-trick of victories in front of his home crowd. The Dutchman, at the wheel of a BMW M6 GT3, won both sprints with a big lead. The third race of the weekend was a much closer affair. After an hour of racing, Meijer crossed the finish line just 0.427 seconds ahead of his compatriot and fellow BMW driver Cees Wijsman. The finale of the series will take place from 25^th to 26^th October at the TT Circuit in Assen, the Netherlands.
