Impressive display on Hankook tyres: Putera and Levet enjoy double success in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe in Barcelona

Malaysian Adam Putera and France’s Paul Levet from the VSR team bagged a brace of wins at the penultimate round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, which took place from 10^th to 12^th October in Barcelona. In doing so, they made the title race in the Pro class exciting ahead of the season finale in Misano. Both races at Circuito de Barcelona-Catalunya were fiercely contested. Putera won the opening race by a mere 0.25 seconds. The duo then produced a commanding performance to control the field from the front in race two. The championship leaders, Italian Enzo Geraci and Josef Knopp from the Czech Republic, could do no better than fourth and seventh place in Spain. As a result, they saw their lead shrink to just three points. In the Pro-Am class, Bulgaria’s Georgi Dimitrov and Frenchman Stéphan Guerin wrapped up the title with another victory. The high-performance Hankook Ventus Race tyre once again provided all the drivers with impressive grip levels and consistent performance under great stress. The season finale takes place at the start of November in Misano, Italy.
