Taylor wins with Hankook in Misano and is crowned TCR champion

Nicolas Taylor from the PMA Motorsport team enjoyed a perfect conclusion to this season’s TCR Italy: a second place and victory in the Sunday race in Misano were enough to see the Canadian crowned champion again in mid-October, as the man from Calgary successfully defended the title he won in last year’s Italian championship. The 20-year-old also won the Team title with PMA Motorsport at Misano World Circuit. Taylor used the impressive performance of the Hankook race tyres and dominated the finale from the outset. A perfect start gave him the lead, which he defended superbly through to the finish. He was followed home in second and third place by Britain’s Alex Ley (BRC Racing Team) and Nicola Baldan from Italy (Aikoa Racing), who ended the season as the runner-up in the championship. The Hankook Ventus Race again impressed with its consistent grip and high levels of stability at the sixth round of the season – a decisive factor in Taylor’s fifth win of 2025 and his successful end to the season.
